Ugh. This is not a good week. I weighed-in this morning and was NOT happy. Erin on the other hand FINALLY lost weight. SO happy for her. She’s been working out just as much as I have and deserves to see results on the scale.
Our Workout Plan: Zumba 1 night/wk, 1 weekend workout (60 min) Since I was out half of last week on a road trip, we hit the gym hard on Sunday. My sis showed Erin and I some new machines and we were sore for days after. We hit the gym again on Tuesday, I went Wednesday, and we’re going to Zumba tonight. 4 workouts this week!
My Goal: Break 130lbs by February 22nd.
Week 2 Weigh-in: Last week I was 134.8…. so I should be down from that. But I’m not. Maybe it’s because of three sedentary days in the car, or maybe I’m building mucsle (which weighs more than fat, you know)… but the scale was back up this morning to 136.
Clothing Size: Still a 6. Oh and those winter clothes I took out from two years ago fit well, and are even loose!
Eating & Drinking: I ate well on our road trip… Subway sandwiches and salads, fruit and granola bars… only one fast food stop(which was chicken). Today I feel like crap though and had a donut and I’m totally having pizza for lunch. I’ll just work it off this weekend. Whatever.
Sleeping: Sleep is still great, thanks Avery.
Cheats: Today there will be lots of cheats…
Thoughts: I’ve been wanting to hit the gym more, but not go while Avery is awake – so I don’t miss time with him. That leaves two options. Gym at 430am before work, or 7pm after Avery is in bed. Wednesday I gave the late workout a shot. It went well. I think I wanna do that more…
Next Week Goals & Ideas: I think I wanna do some more cardio. I ran a mile on the treadmill on Wednesday and it felt great. I could have ran more but was limited with time. I think I’ll do more running this coming week. I gotta go grocery shopping too… there aren’t many healthy options left at home since it’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been shopping.
What do you change up when you gain weight? Should I be doing more weights or cardio or what?
